"The Power in Consciouness Creates"

Image
Conquering Freedom " "The Power in Consciouness Creates" Inspiration: I am not your Guru by Tony Robbins https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXmfi2GryUI The POWER in consciousness creates is that YOU are a cocreator. Yes, you actively participate consciously or unconsciously in the cocreation of the intimate to large details of your life and your response to life is critically important to the outcomes in all circumstances. Your response determines how well you own the power you were created in.  Yes, sometimes experiences are not what we had hoped for yet you still participated in some form in the creation of these experiences and owning your power in each experience helps project and flip each experience as a mechanism and catalyst for the ultimate outcome.....which is peace. I think its important to know what kind of energy you are expending consciously because the more conscious and mindful you are about life the less power you give to your emotions when things...

"Emotional Dependence & Your Happiness"

Conquering Freedom "Emotional Dependence & Your Happiness" Recently, I've been reading Stephen Covey’s infamous 7 Habits of Highly Effective People...again :( A friend of mine recommended this years ago but I was unable to follow the main points...so I put it down.  Now, after several years and a ton more life experiences I get it and there is one main point I find fascinating.   The book speaks to independent, dependent and interdependent behaviors along with relationships and how these relationships with ourselves and with others impact our effectiveness. Effectiveness into purpose and my belief into universal vibration.  Our personal effectiveness, which drives our individual purpose is extraordinary.  In fact, everything we do, we do interchangeably, cross functionally, we do in teams, in pairs, we do collectively, we do together, we do as a community, in relationship and in fellowship with one another. Examples: we work jobs together, have families, ...

"The Imperfectly Perfect Flat Tire"

Image
Conquering Freedom "The imperfectly perfect Flat Tire" So finally my tire blew out and I could not have been more amazed at the timing.  I had been riding around on BAD tires for months, the same tires since I purchased  my car 3 years ago. I figured that maybe I would get new tires when I got around to it but anything that cost money I try to ride it out.  Nevertheless, I had not paid attention to the signs my tires were going like my car pulling left with a brand new alignment or hydroplaning in the rain.  So no big deal - I will do it when I get ready. Plus, tires cost way too much and they looked great on the outside. Coincidence?  A lot of things look great on the outside but on the inside are all torn up. It wasn't until I traveled back to North Carolina two weekends ago that I realized that maybe I was cutting it too close.  I made it home and decided to take a closer look at my tires.  I felt around the rim and I cut myself.  The...

"Empowering Conversations"

Conquering Freedom "Empowering Conversations" So lately, empowering conversations is no doubt a reflection of the energy I attract and this energy is the reason why I continue to show up day to day to get better.  I like to think it is because I am finally healing and detaching from all of the things, preconceived notions and environments that has created strongholds.  Maybe I am beginning to vibrate just a little bit higher each day from the previous days. Or maybe my mindset, thoughts and affirmations projected into the universe are beginning to manifest? I hope so. Of course this shift in the universe requires a lot of work and work that is extremely difficult but it is through these empowering conversations that I stay committed to doing this work and taking a much deeper dive in self.  And maybe restoration and revival of older dreams and desires will present itself. I have been having a ton of these conversations, in the most random ways, as if these ...

"You are awesome...seriously"

Image
Conquering Freedom "You are awesome..seriously" Certainly, there are power in yours words and there is power in positive thinking.  What you speak, you manifest and what you manifest you actualize or realize. Everyone has the ability to be great, and awesome, in fact, I am sure everyone is great and awesome in their own way but the difference between those who "can be great" and those who know they are great is mindset. Your words, your compassion, your kindness and your character to people is a reflection of your conscious vibration, its your power and most importantly your awesomeness.  I had a great conversation with a friend a few weeks back who challenged me to change my mindset.  Live in the now moment, recognized that you are valuable.  It made me think about a friend who by the way I really miss who recommended this book: The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle.  Check it out.  Interesting how this circled back.  Look it doesn't matter what sc...

"Faith is surrendering and trusting"

Image
Conquering Freedom  "Faith is surrendering and trusting" Faith is a very interesting concept and one that so many people struggle with including myself.  I think the reason is because we look for some outcome concerning faith when we need or want something instead of viewing faith as the foundation for how we should live healthier lives. The foundation being surrendering to what is and trusting that what is, is suppose to be.  What if we decided to view faith as a cornerstone of our lives instead? A cornerstone being a grounded philosophy in how we approach life experiences which guide our actions, motivate our souls and heal our egos. The question then becomes should faith be described as the act of believing without seeing? Many people would say yes this is how they understand faith and the only work required is just...believing. The belief that something will transpire or come to pass if you believe hard enough yet there is so much more work to be done than just...

"Circle of Influence"

Image
Conquering Freedom "Circle of Influence" Have you ever thought about who or have wondered what things in life influence you? Influence from the perspective of what decisions you make or how you relate to experiences? For example, the inspiration to work or not work a job, to consume or not to consume certain foods, ingest or digest certain music or  movies?  What about the friends we keep? The ones we lose or think we have lost? The ones we gain? Its all because of our relationship to ourselves, the present moment, and the energy we cultivate among many things which contributes to how and where we are vibrating.   In theory, the momentum of energy is just like any other sustaining force or phenomena. Its a life dependent and supporting force which needs food. Good or bad is irrelevant just food. Except this food is spiritual, relational and emotional. So the type of food does impact the result. Better foods, better results, not so healthy foods and not so healthy r...

"My Journey Across The Atlantic Part II"

Image
Conquering Freedom "My Journey Across The Atlantic Part II"       The second leg of my trip was really interesting.  I ended up going to Dublin, Ireland.  When I landed I could tell the major difference between the city of London and the serenity of Dublin.  My pockets could also tell the difference too because I went from paying the British pound to the euro which made things a lot more affordable in Ireland. The very first thing I noticed in Ireland was that there were no black people lol.  Great cultural experience for sure but dang I did not see a hint of African or African American people. I wasn't shocked but its always good to visit places where you have little roots to see how other people live. On my first day I took some time to walk around the city.  It was cold, rainy and windy so that was about all I could take for the first day.  On the second day, I did a hip on and off bus tour which took me around the entire city...

"My Journey Across The Atlantic Part I"

Image
Conquering Freedom "My Journey Across The Atlantic Part I"      Waiting, waiting and waiting for the perfect moment until I realized that the perfect moments are usually ALWAYS....imperfect. The perfect moments have bad timing and are filled with lots of spontaneity. Not my strong suite or preference but aye working on uncomfortable areas of my life.  So I thought on it and finally I had the courage to just do it...I hit the button. Forget the perfect moment, forget how I think things should be and just go for it.  Screw up, get lost and just be free. Its really ok.  So I planned my own trip and I confirmed my own itinerary nevertheless interesting place, Dublin, Ireland.  No language barriers just a fun time lost in places that are new. Great plan right? (internally thinking stupid plan)      My natural instinct and my mind as usual were telling me nahhh man that’s too much, that’s crazy, don’t do it but my heart, yeah ...

"YourDay Lifestyle BALANCE"

Image
Conquering Freedom "YourDay Lifestyle B.A.L.A.N.C.E." It's been a while since I posted and the truth is I have just been terribly lazy but now I am back pushing myself to share more "magical moments."  Recently, I learned about magic moments at this place called YourDay Lifestyle B.AL.A.N.C.E.  YourDay is a well-being fit community and I have met some of the most brilliant people in this place.  My connection is over the last year I had really been looking for ways to improve my overall well-being, like struggling both internally and externally. Externally,  wasn't as much of a challenge just being consistent was my downfall.  My routine was I would go through these periods of  life where physical fitness was everything and I could get into shape and be fit in a matter of months and maintain this level for a little while but it was sustainable.  The thing was I looked great but I didn't always feel great...inside.  Internally, it ...

"The Lottery"

Image
Conquering Freedom "Did you win the lottery?" Recall a few weeks back there was a huge billionaire lottery, the largest in history. People from all over, different states played the powerball. Surely, I'm thinking a billionaire dollars can channnnnge the game so yeah I must play too... and guess what? I bought a ticket.   Immediately, after I played my numbers  I started running all of the scenarios of what GOOD I could produce in the world, in a world where GOOD is often overshadowed by the not so good.  Strange how this works. Seemingly, my thought was never about the money (everyone who knows me know I'm not about money) but the platform this stage could create to help people see more GOOD in the world.  Surely, I can use my sphere of influence and the lottery stage to capture the attention of people to inspire hope. Certainly, aside from paying off my school loan debt, everyone knows the lottery stage odds are thin yet someone always wins right....
